About Radway
The Town of Radway, is a unique hamlet in Thorchild County in central Alberta. Located within a short drive Northeast of Edmonton, this destination is a historical tourist experience that can’t be missed. With historical locations such as The Krause Milling Co. grain elevator, one of the last remnants of Alberta’s milling history. This site offers the history of the town and its growth in the flour industry in the 1900s.
Additionally, it is also home to one of the oldest public libraries in the province. Ever a small town in Alberta, Radway is also home to its own agricultural society. Due to its location away from the major cityscapes, the town is surrounded by beautiful scenic views of the prairies and the countryside.
Radway is certainly worth seeing for history aficionados.
