CALGARY, October 30, 2018: Ebus is proud to announce that we’re launching service in BC tomorrow on October 31, 2018 and it’s available to book now! We’ll be offering four daily trips from Vancouver to Kelowna and Kamloops, and we’re thrilled to be stopping at the Abbotsford Airport (YXX) to help connect residents and visitors to the area to more communities in the province.
The Ebus story has been one of expansion and growth from the beginning. Ebus was conceived in 2011 as an economical option to the luxury Red Arrow brand, which has been serving Alberta for almost 40 years.
Ebus is an affordable travel option while also providing the benefits that passengers are looking for when they travel:
· Safety - with our highly experienced drivers and well maintained coaches
· Customer Service – friendly, professional staff, easy check-in, and well-appointed buses
· Comfort - on-board washrooms and comfortable seats with plenty of legroom
· Sustainability – one Ebus can potentially take 50 cars off the road each trip, making bus travel green travel
· Productivity – complimentary on-board WiFi and power outlets so travel time can be spent connecting, for work or with friends and family
“We’re thrilled to connect the entire region to the airport in Abbotsford and beyond by offering increased travel options for people in both the City of Abbotsford as well as the nearby communities of Surrey and Chilliwack,” says John Stepovy, Director of Business Development for Ebus. “We believe that collaborating with YXX and complementing air access provided by airlines such as Flair and Swoop, will only benefit residents and visitors alike.”
“On behalf of City Council and the community of Abbotsford, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Ebus to our city,” said Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun. “As YXX continues to grow and welcome more passengers every year, having additional travel options and connectivity from our airport is a significant benefit to our region.”
"It is exciting to welcome new ground transportation service to Abbotsford International Airport. We fully support Ebus' initiative. This will provide Flair passengers more options and more connectivity, which ultimately makes their travel easier and seamless." Jim Scott, CEO Flair Airlines
“Swoop welcomes Ebus as a service for those travelling between B.C regions and connecting airports,” said Karen McIsaac, Senior Advisor of Communications for Swoop. “To have Ebus at the Abbotsford airport aligns well with Swoop’s vision of providing more choice for travelers and in redefining the way Canadians view travel.”
Service begins October 31, 2018. Complete schedule information and reservations for this route are available now at www.myebus.ca or by phone at 1-877-769-3287.
