Ebus Announces New Fort McMurray Service

CALGARY, August 28th: Ebus, the sister brand to Red Arrow, is excited to announce plans to expand our network with a route between Edmonton and Fort McMurray. This route will complement the existing luxury coach service provided by Red Arrow who currently operates two daily departures from both cities. Ebus will offer 10 departures per week, including stops in Gibbons, Radway, Boyle, Grassland, and Wandering River. With the addition of this service, we’re now able to offer passengers a choice in amenities and price-point, and allow for expanded connection opportunities through existing Ebus and Red Arrow routes to other communities in the province.

Ebus is an economical travel option while also providing the benefits that passengers are looking for when they travel:

·       Safety - with our highly experienced drivers and well maintained coaches

·        Superior Passenger Experience – friendly, professional staff, easy check-in, and well-appointed buses and departure lounges

·       Comfort - on-board washrooms and comfortable seats with plenty of legroom

·       Convenience - multiple stop locations, convenient schedules, and connections to other cities

·       Productivity – complimentary on-board WiFi so travel time can be spent connecting, for work or with friends and family

“We feel that expanding our service to Fort McMurray, a community known for its strong workforce and bustling industry, is important,” says Dean Wright, Vice President of Red Arrow Motorcoach. “There are specific work-related opportunities in Fort McMurray and Edmonton that are not as available in other areas of Alberta, and people deserve a variety of options when accessing them.”

“A lot of our Red Arrow and PWT family call Fort McMurray home and we’re proud to offer this support to them and all residents,” adds John Stepovy, Director of Business Development, “By launching this Ebus service to the area, we’re empowering Albertans with more choices while connecting to the rest of the province, conveniently and affordably.”

Service will begin on October 21, 2018. Complete schedule information and reservations for this route will be available starting September 7, online at www.myebus.ca or by phone at 1-877-769-3287.
